FAQ
Clear answers about account access, XCH wallets, auctions, notifications, balances, protected deals and platform safety.
General
Core information about the platform and current user actions.
What is xch.auction?
xch.auction is a marketplace for Chia XCH users where listings, auctions and protected deal steps are kept in one account area. The first focus is auction trading and digital assets, including NFT domains.
Why use a structured marketplace instead of private messages?
Structured pages keep the listing, price, wallet data, confirmations, deadlines and dispute history in one place. This makes the trade easier to follow and easier to review if something goes wrong.
Where are platform updates published?
Important service notices, rule explanations, release notes and maintenance information are published in the News section. Active maintenance notices may also be shown in the site banner.
Account and access
Registration, login, recovery and user account settings.
How can I register?
You can create an account with email or use supported wallet access where available. Email accounts use email confirmation and password recovery. Wallet accounts can add a recovery email later for safer profile access.
Do I need email if I sign in with Pawket?
A wallet-based account can work without mandatory email confirmation. A recovery email is still recommended because external wallet access may be unstable or unavailable at the moment you need to enter the account.
What is available in the account area?
Your account area includes profile settings, security, saved wallets, listings, purchases, sales, notifications, balance actions and NFT import tools where available.
Why do some actions require confirmation?
Important actions may require password confirmation or wallet re-authentication so that a listing, deal, wallet or finance step is not changed by accident or by someone who should not control the account.
Wallets and Pawket
XCH wallets, default wallet selection, verification and wallet login.
Why should I add a default XCH wallet?
A default XCH wallet helps the platform prefill safe destination data in deals, payouts and wallet-related actions. It also reduces mistakes when several wallets are saved in one account.
Why is wallet ownership verification useful?
Wallet verification gives the platform and trade participants more confidence that the saved wallet belongs to the account owner. It is especially useful before protected deals and NFT-related actions.
Can I save more than one wallet?
Yes. You can keep several wallets with clear names, then choose the default wallet used most often. This is useful if you separate receiving, payout and NFT-related addresses.
What should I know about Pawket login?
Pawket login is supported where available, but wallet services can change or become temporarily unstable. Keep your account recovery options up to date so you are not dependent on only one login method.
Notifications
How users receive important platform updates without noise.
Which notifications should I enable?
In-app notifications are the main channel. Email and Telegram are useful for deal actions, auction results, financial updates, support replies and security events that you should not miss.
Do I have to connect Telegram?
No. Telegram is optional. It is helpful when you want fast alerts about important steps, but you can keep only in-app and email notifications if that is more convenient.
Will the platform send too many messages?
Notification preferences are grouped by event type. You can keep important deal and finance alerts enabled while disabling less urgent channels for categories that do not need immediate attention.
When will administrators receive platform alerts?
Administrators can receive alerts for activity that may require supervision, such as new listings, NFT imports, support messages, finance requests, disputes and important deal events.
Balance and funds
Available balance, reserved balance, deposits and withdrawals.
What is Available balance?
Available balance is the amount that can be used for supported platform actions, such as new bids, deal payments or withdrawal requests.
What is Reserved balance?
Reserved balance is temporarily held by an active action, for example a bid or a protected deal stage. It helps prevent the same funds from being used in two places at once.
How do deposits and withdrawals work?
Deposits and withdrawals are handled through account balance requests. Important finance steps can be reviewed before completion so that errors and suspicious actions are easier to catch.
Can finance actions be paused during maintenance?
Yes. During maintenance, deposit, withdrawal and other write actions can be paused. Existing pages may remain available for viewing so users can still check their account state.
Listings and NFT import
Creating listings, importing NFT data and preparing assets for trade.
Can I create both sell listings and auctions?
Available listing formats depend on the active platform settings and categories. If a format is enabled, it appears in the create-listing flow; if it is not enabled, users cannot publish that format.
How does NFT import help me?
NFT import helps prepare listings faster by reading available NFT data, images and domain-related information. It reduces manual entry and helps keep NFT domain pages more consistent.
Can I edit a listing after bids or deal activity starts?
Editing can become limited after important activity starts. This protects bidders and buyers from unexpected changes to price, title, terms or asset information after they have already acted.
Why are links and scripts blocked in user text fields?
User text fields are filtered to reduce spam, phishing and script injection. This keeps listings, messages and profile data safer for other participants.
Auctions
Bids, auction status, deadlines and post-auction steps.
What happens after an auction is won?
A winning auction can move into a separate deal page where the buyer and seller follow clear next steps, confirmations and deadlines.
Why are bids and deadlines controlled by the platform?
Controlled bid and deadline rules make the auction easier to understand and harder to manipulate. Participants can see the current status and know which step is expected next.
Can the owner change an active auction?
Before real participation starts, more editing can be allowed. After bids or deal steps appear, editing should be limited so the auction remains fair for participants.
Can an auction be paused during maintenance?
During maintenance, creating, editing, deleting and finance actions can be paused while existing pages remain available for viewing. This prevents users from changing important data while service work is in progress.
Protection and disputes
Protected flow, private deal pages, evidence and dispute review.
Can other users open my deal or dispute pages?
No. Deal and dispute pages are intended for the buyer, seller and platform administrators. Other users should not see private transaction details.
How are disputes handled?
If a supported deal reaches a problem stage, a dispute can be opened. The case keeps key trade information in one place so both sides and the platform team can review it more clearly.
What should I add to a dispute?
Add clear messages and evidence that explain what happened. The goal is to make the case understandable without relying on scattered private chats.
What is the practical goal of the protected flow?
The protected flow keeps price, wallet, confirmation, delivery and dispute steps inside structured pages. This makes decisions easier to verify if a problem appears later.
